Examples of Automation

Insert Label Supply System

One label is picked up from the label stocker, and then transferred to the label insert chuck of the take-out robot.

Process classification: Pre-molding machine

Process: This is a device that supplies labels to the take-out machine.

This is a chuck for label inserts on the take-out robot.The vacuumed label is set to the mold.

Product Delivery

This device transports molded products delivered by the chuck of the take-out robot to the next process.

Process: The removed molded product is placed on a conveyor and transported.

Product inspection

As a method for inspecting molded products that come down the conveyor,
・Image inspection using a camera
・Detects short mold using electricity
If there are any defective products, they will be sorted into the discharge chute.

Process: The molded product is judged to be good or defective.

Product boxing

Once the appropriate number of good products have been collected for each box, they are held in place using suction or other means and arranged inside the box. They are handled carefully to prevent any scratches until the very end.

Product bagging

The transported molded products are packed into bags, and the bags are sealed by welding.

Static Elimination

Use anti-static materials or static elimination bars to eliminate static electricity from labels and molded products.

Process: Eliminates static electricity from labels to prevent overlaps and wrinkles.

Metal Insert

Metal parts supplied by a parts feeder are placed in a mold or embedded into an assembly part.

Gate Cut

Cutting the gate by air nippers while the products are supported by the chuck of the take-out robot.

Process: Cut off the gate remaining on the surface of the molded product

Hinge bending

Bottle caps and bendable forks are bent after take-out from the mold and then released.

Process: Bend the hinge immediately after take-out from the mold

Assembly

Assemble machine such like assemble molded lids and tube cut by another machine. This is a device used for assembly work.

Clean room specifications

The standard take-out robot is painted to prevent rust, but we use rust-resistant stainless steel material and clean the inside of the guard that surrounds the device with a HEPA filter.

Process: Medical and food-related molded products. Specifications tailored to the environment in which it is used.

Small Size Swing Robot

Even small, single-cavity molding machines, such as those for connectors, can pose a risk of serious injury if your hand gets caught in them. Sailor Robot also offers small swing-type take-out robot.

Process: Remove molded products from molding machines of 5 tons or less

Side Entry Take-out Robot

The sigma5 and sigmaA are take-out robot called traverses that are installed on top of the molding machine, but the side entry take-out robot are installed on the non-operation side of the molding machine.
