About Extraction Robot for Injection Molding Machine

One method of manufacturing plastic products and parts is the "injection molding" method, in which the material is heated and melted, poured into a metal mold, and then cooled and hardened. This "injection molding" method makes it possible to produce many identical products from a single mold, making it a widely used method for inexpensively mass-producing plastic products and parts. The equipment that performs this process automatically and continuously is called an injection molding machine, and the robot that automatically removes the finished products and runners (the solidified passages for the resin material, similar to the plastic frames with plastic model parts attached) is called an automatic Take-out Robot for Injection Molding.

To reduce costs, plastic product molding operations generally operate 24 hours a day. In the past, workers would take three shifts a day to remove the finished products and runners. However, this work was monotonous and tedious, and there was a risk of serious injury if a worker accidentally got their hand caught in the mold. This is why automatic take-out robots were developed.

Automatic take-out robot free workers from monotonous and dangerous work, and one machine can do the work of three workers, contributing to reducing manufacturing costs, so they are now installed on most molding machines.
